Organizers

Tereza Iofciu

Tereza is a Head Data Science Coach at neufische. Before that she was a Lead Data Scientist at Free Now in Hamburg, where she was working on cool projects with inspiring people. She started the PyLadies Hamburg group and is now co-organising regular meetups dealing with data, python and IOT together with some awesome ladies. She is a board member of Python Software Verband and does all sorts of mentoring when needed. In her free time she draws dinosaurs under the label tiyepyep.

Avaré Stewart

Avaré is a Native New Yorker, and works as a Senior Data Science at EOS DID (a subsidiary of the Otto Group). In her former role of EOS Data & Analytics Community Lead, she was responsible for fostering international collaboration among the Data Scientists that reside in 19 countries across the world. Now she works in Data Science operations and focuses on building and deploying models for debt collection. She is Co-Organizer of PyLadies Hamburg. She is also Co-Founder of Givetastic Technologies, which offers Corporations of any size, easy solutions to Make Giving, Fantastic!

Gesa Stupperich

Gesa is a Software Developers at ThoughtWorks and before starting to build software for a living she spent a long time reading old Chinese books. Her interest in organizing PyLadies meetups got spiked when one of the participants said she should prepare an IOT workshop. Since then she has embarked on a fascinating DIY with devops journey which she has been presenting at various conferences. She is still trying to figure out what they and computer programs have in common because she finds them both fascinating.

Annemarie Paul

Annemarie works as a senior data scientist in Hamburg and helps building and deploying data-driven business solutions, among other in the logistics industry. She holds a PhD with focus statistics and labor economics and is very curious how (clean and often not so clean) data influences our decisions - from data literacy to data paralysis - and how to change this. She is Women in AI city lead and Pyladies co-organizer. When she is not coding, she likes to dance lindy hop and to discover new places in and around Hamburg.
